How do you understand/interprete death. I think Buddhist conceptions of death are radically different from others.
Or is that opinion flawed? To what extent is death a boundary between existence/afterlife in this world v the next according to your religion?

The difference lies in the emphasis of finality of physical death in the Christian or Muslim faiths, whereas in Buddhism the concept of samsara is emphasized.
Actually, come to think of it, there are quite a few differences between these two parties when it comes to conceptualizing death. But, the above opinion of mine is my offer. ![]() Peace, Mystic |

Buddhists believe in constant Reincarnation on earth ,
Christians,Muslims,Jews << dont believe in Reincarnation on Earth from an islamic point of view : Islam believes that life on earth as we know it will come to an end it will be followed by the hereafter which includes physical resurrection of the entire humankind, judgement and the life of paradise or hell. |

Not necessarily, some schools of Buddhism allow for Incarnations in other realms of existence, and on other planets sometimes in entirely different universes. Depends on the cosmology.

The gist is correct, though. Buddhism postulates returning to life as a human being again and again (whether on this planet or not); correcting mistakes and (hopefully) improving each time. The Abrahamic faiths postulate that you get one shot at a human life (or lifetime), and then are judged (for all eternity) on the basis of that one lifetime.
From this (admittedly very simplistic) perspective, Buddhists get do-overs, while followers of Abraham do not.
