The word for "to create" is made by combining the words for "speak," "dust," "life," and "walk."
In one symbol this tells the story of how god created simply by speaking and he created man from the dust. I'm not sure how "walk" fits in with the story, though...

I don't know Chinese, so I can't give you any definitive answers, but you're on the right track by questioning their argument.

Here's the example:

You'd have to know somebody who knows Chinese, preferably somebody who's an authority on the subject to really get into this, but the kinds of questions you might ask are:

Is this the Chinese character for "speak"?
Does it have any other meanings?


Is this the Chinese character for dust or mud?
Does it have any other meanings?
Does Chinese have just one word for both dust and mud?


Is this really the Chinese character for life?
Really?
What about the third, unmentioned component of the character for speak?
What does it mean?


Is this really the Chinese character for walk?
Does it have any other meanings?

Now, according to the example, it looks like the character for "create" is made up of two characters, speak + walk, and speak is made up of the characters for dust + life.
If the characters mean what they're claimed to mean, how, exactly, do they support Genesis?

Without knowing any Chinese, and even accepting that everything they say about Chinese characters is true (which I doubt), it doesn't seem like a very compelling argument to me.

dust + life = speak

speak + walk = create

Do you think that's a very convincing argument that the ancient Chinese knew the Genesis story? Do you think it's more convincing than, say, the arguments of Muslims who claim that this:

is one of many examples of God writing his name in nature, in Arabic?

People can imagine all kinds of things if they're so disposed. The best thing to do when you're confronted with this kind of delusion is to say, "Wow! That's amazing!" and then walk away.
