He seems to be based heavily on Qutb and Islamism, neither of which I can say I'm a fan of. I'm also not a big fan of his party, Jamaat-e-Islami either. I dunno, I'd expect something... different with his Sufi background.

His party as part of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal is falling out of favour anyway. They were a failure in the 05 local elections and (hopefully) will be a failure again in the next elections.

That also was not directed at any one person on this forum. It is the way I feel though, and what I think many people feel and simply refuse to say it plainly. Like I said it wasn't directed at any particular person here.

I came to a conclusion here in RF that all religions almost have the same goals!

The US could have easily taken over any country they wanted. They chose the moral path and went home.
