good critique-
While I agree i maybe leaping about a bit- this is necessary for us to know that Amaymon is also mentioned by John - as the angel of the Four pionts of the earth- along with Puriel and Elgin
As for Amaymon and Ammon this linked is provided in the Hebrew term Black North- referring to the ten degree angle of the north which lacks stars or the Bootes Void- and the link of the Egyptian Ammon to that very area of Stars
As for Mommon- as there is no earlier mention of Mammon till Christ- i believe the misqoute was not mine but the gospels

They say knowledge is power. Some people get off by having knowledge that very few have. Quite often, this knowledge is not based in truth, but in deception. There is no mistake in the scriptures about "mamon"... only someone trying to capitalize off of the fear factor inherent in this new found ancient evil. I for one, am underwhelmed. Can I get an Amon, er Amen to that?

Scuba i think very little of your critique- capitalize off on what- Revelation clearly states- that Appolyon will- come- a destroying angel- seeking the ruin of humankind- his ancient name is Asmodeus and he is ruled over by this one Amaymon- who as Ammon suggest remains hidden from your eyes-
For you look but with the eyes of a vulture and it is hypocritical of you to criticize that which you know not-
What of Baal Zaphon and the Bootes Void- your words show the deficiency of your own thought-

Thanks, and decent response.

I'm wonderring though way it would be necessary for us to recognise the connection. What I mean is; if the Jesus of the Gospels is referring to Mammon as "the cares of this world" and John is alluding to the same principle with "the Angel of the four points of the earth" then it seems as if it's already been said.

What I'm saying is; even if we could go back through all the cosmologies you mention and establish a clear connection along the lines you're suggesting, I'm wonderring what added significance or advantage we would gain by ascribing yet another name to the same principle.

I mean, say for the sake of argument that we could verify and establish a clear connection between all the variables in your equation what would they add up to?

Put another way; if we filled in the rest of your road map, where would it lead us that we can't get to via more traditional routes?

It then clarifies the role of Satan as a mere Trickster and not the true Evil- in that he himself is answerable to Amaymon- who is the Hidden evil- and true
it is the first step in proving that Mammon may infact be the angel that will lead men to Meggido- The King of the North (East)be

You forgot that when the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars. Then Peace will guide the planets and Love will guide the stars. I like this scenario far better than one based on evil and hate.
