Dating Atheists
Just kinda curious because I've fun into this roadblock once or twice. This poll is for theists only, Just curious how many believers would date a non-believer if all other attributes were satisfactory.

 Edit: I would date a religious person with ease, does that count?

Depends. I've known two types of atheists. There are the ones who don't believe in a deity of any sort but have the attitude of "believe whatever you want". And there are the ones who are so adament that there isn't any such thing as deity that they are prone to think and say that all religion and supernatural belief is bunk and those who believe are stupid. So really, it depends on the person. Like any other. Would I date the first kind? Sure, I guess, if they didn't make me feel weird about my practices. The second? Not a chance.

As a non-theist, I didn't vote in the poll, but if I did, I'd have to vote "no" - my wife won't let me date anybody, including atheists.
