Does anyone here believe that the world will be unified, under any ONE religion? (Including non-religion)

I hope - and believe - that it will; that will be the day when we return to Earth as it was at the time of the Garden of Eden - call it paradise if you like.

Possibly. There is an undercurrent of conspiracism which posits that this is one of the goals of a new world order, isn't there? One world, one government, one religion. It could happen...but perhaps the thing is that is looks likely that "religion" will either be secular humanism or Evolutionary biology. Something to consider...

Sounds nice, I doubt that it ever will happen under one religion though.

i think we should have also a Baha'i comment on this!
![]() i don't think that's possible. if one believes in the ideal of spiritual universalism, perhaps we are already united... i see greater opportunities for inter-faith dialogue and study, but i don't think it's likely that all people will eventually fall under one religious banner.

Why would you hope not? Surely an end to violence and death under the banner of religion would be a good thing. If we all had the same understanding of where we are from wouldn't that be a good thing?

No. It will never happen because there will always be some blockhead who just doens't get it. The starry-eyed impractical dreamers might think this will work but all efforts in this direction are doomed before they begin. You cannot put square pegs into round holes. It just doesn't work. A one-size fits all religion would be mediocre at best otherwise it could not appeal to a huge group of people.
I think what you might see in the not too distant future is a spiritual anarachy whose adherents have no physical affiliations but are bound internally by their experiences much more closely than ordinary or conventional congregations could ever hope to imagine.

The "man causes global warming" religion is making it's run right now...
