If everyone followed the religion of Kindness the world would be a much better place.

Anyway, my God is the same as everyone else's God and if he/she was dead, we would all be dead because the Spirit of God is manifested in all of us.

Always been the problem..for whom, and for which holy books?

I've read the basics in all the major religions, and have not found this notion can be supported from all of them, so I'm at a loss to understand why you would use the term "always."

Well, I'd certainly agree with the Dalai Lama on the subject of kindness and an attitude towards others, but it's worth noting that the Dalai Lama follows a particular religious tradition himself.

I don't see following a particular tradition excludes kindness or the understanding that there is only one humanity. Um, frankly, my religious tradition is pretty clear on those points and encourages us to put them into practice.

I don't believe any religious text or particular religion can hold the "ultimate and only truth" either. A text that could hold that would be as infinite as God.

Now...what size bookshelf should I build to hold that tome?

Always been the problem for "truth-seekers" since the start of religion: manipulation of the masses, use a line someone wrote down to justify their actions, formation of "religion hierarchies", man-made structures called "temples of God", etc...

I´m talking about all holly books that people use to create divisions in mankind.
