Why do some feel they have to be so militant against all religions to the point of insulting and trying to repress religious belief? Honestly, I'm curious about this.

What's your moral compass (whereas theists might say "God", or religious people might point to their churches doctrine, etc.)?

Life appears to be ubiquitous, even filling environmental crevices once thought to be entirely hostile to living organisms. Mass extinctions of 'biblical' proportions repeatedly give rise to a plethora of new and interesting lifeforms. And this property (or paradigm) of emergence finds manifestations throughout nature from rainbows to rhapsodies. We are enormously fortunate. Why is it more reasonable to provisionally attribute that fortune to luck than to supernatural agency?

The only question I have is: why do you worry about people who believe in God?

Frustration? Resentment? Outrage? I'd suspect there are a multitude of reasons.

How do you apply morality to your daily life in the absence of a perceived God?
