I see and speak with my dead parents in dreams sometimes.
I don't believe it was any sort of interaction with literal "spirits" or "souls" of the dead though. Just thoughts and memories coming out subconsciously in a dream.

I do not believe in Demons.
Not that God could not create them.. But why would he?
If they were independent immortals would they not too be Gods?
Demons evil spirits and Jins are with out any reality, they are a carry over from primitive belief systems.

1) I have seen my grandfather and grandmother on the night of my grandmothers passing. I have also felt the presence of my uncle.
2) An obvious yes from the above answer.

I can't say what happens in every individual case, but I'm just suggesting that people don't try to call up spirits because it might not always be what you expect.
