Simple answer: Yes.

I don't think God has a soul. Certainly not in the sense that humans do (provided you believe humans do.) If God has a soul it must be some kind of super soul.
In Gen 2:7 god breathes in the breath of life to Adam and "man became a living soul." I would say God certianly has the power to bestow souls onto others, but probably himself possesses some kind of uber-soul. Or perhaps God IS soul in it's purest form, and he merely bestowed a small part of himself into Adam. But even in this case, I wouldn't say that he HAS a soul. |

You are all confusing God with James Brown.

We should probably point out that to a mormon, a soul is a different from the common understanding (at least I think).
LDS believe that a soul = (physical body + spirit)

As to the OP God does not "have" a soul, but rather is the combination of All That Is, as all we know came from/comes from that singularity of consciousness. I would tend to agree with an above poster that the soul of "god" would be on a different scale than for relatively ordinary non-physical beings, but calling it a "supersoul" would be sort of like describing Antarctica as a large ice cube. It is simply an irrelevant designation.

God IS a spirit(John 4:24), so, I would say, yes...

God is the Super Soul from which we all came from. When we all return there, we will merge just as water merges with water. There will be only that Super Soul.
EDIT: I didn't choose any of the options in the poll. My answer didn't fit into any of those. Shorry!

What exactly is a soul? What is one's spirit?
