How do you feel your life on earth has been made more complete through your religious belief?
well culture and religion are tied together so, I have ties to a culture that goes back to the dawn of humanity. I can draw on the strength of my ancestors and all they have learned. (which after more than 40,000 years on this contenent is quite a lot)
I have learned a great respect for my older brothers and sisters who crawl, fly and swim and for the Earth and this respect has led me to study Science.

I could go on but I'm sure you get the idea.

That's easily enough done! Consider, under the 'faith' column, putting an arrow that extends from the 'get an idea' box over to the 'use theory to better understand the universe' one that is under the science method. For example, my ideas about belief and faith, the nature and possible existence or non-existence of the 'Great Mystery'
are constantly in flux. A number of theists here would also note that their process is the same. I don't think that anyone is attempting to say that the 'keep idea forever' category of theists doesn't exist- just that it might be more accurate to combine the two colums at that intersection.

Thanks Feathers. Makes sense to me. My only suggestion would be to substitute the word "hypothesis" for "theory".

I'm questioning him on how he came into this knowledge and whether or not he's considered other explanations for his experience.
Some experiences I can't really put into words properly, others were auditory in nature, and another explanation could be hallucinations...

In answer to the question, religion has made my life more complete because it has given me the comfort of knowing that this life we lead--sickness, old age, death, poverty, disasters, etc. is not all there is. There is a better life that awaits us and in due time God will fulfill his remaining prophecies and put an end to this suffering in this world.
