What is the consequence(s) of not believing in God?

I happen to believe there is a God, so I must say yes. What the consequences are depend on how you are judged and only God can decide that. No matter what, you will be resurrected and become immortal as a result of the Atonement. You will also undoubtedly go to heaven. LDS believe that everyone but a very small group of people will go to heaven, but those who do not believe in God will not be allowed to be in God's presence or live where God lives. (at least that is the LDS view)

Well some say this leads to a spiritual vacuum in life which will be filled with the pleasures of the senses etc. Maybe they are right. It might help to make sense of spirituality to have a specific object to attribute it to, versus not having one.

I believe in God, yet I don't believe that there are consequences for not believing. I think God cares more about how we act, as opposed to whether or not we believe in him or her.

Speaking socially or psychologically, all kinds of consequences (especially if one is open about it,) some negative, some positive.
Speaking metaphysically, none.

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite Daniel 2;44 All manmade goverments will come to there end when Jehovah steps into the affairs of humans, depending on whos side we are on at that time will depend on weather Jehovah thinks we are a rebel and adversary or not ,i am putting my vote in for Jehovah and i am welcoming his sons kingship right now ,then i can be on the right side revelation 7;9-10
