Default Is God on your side?
I've noticed that, peculiarly in America (from what i've seen on telly), people tend to spontaneously pray and thank God a lot. I'm wondering how many of you believe that God is on your side.

If you pray to God to win a football game, and the opposition does the same but you win, does that mean God wanted you to win?
The same goes for anything other competition - beauty pageant, singing content, dance off, baseball etc. Does God favour you if you win?

What about in war. Does God support your country if you ask him too?

Sure, I believe that God is on my side, in that He wants me to succeed at living a righteous life.

If I believed in God I still wouldn't believe that any believable God took sides.
