We got a wider range on this one, finally some life out of these forum I have been tryin to find the passion behind at least one side of the argument since joining and until now I haven't seen that passion. Whether it is the mad props dropped to my lord, king of the jews, or whether it's hatred incarnate both are fantastic emotional responses to the question. At last raw emotion...mmmmmmmmmm that's good emotion. On the pro side of this debate (yes this is where i meant it to be) How could one help but love a guy like J.C. On the other hand one must openly listen to the comments made by those on the flip side of the coin. I understand once being an atheist where you guys are coming from as well. And then there are those in the middle.. there always has to be a gray area. For the folks opposed to my man Yeshua I love you anyway and so does he, you don't care, that's your call to make, mad love regardless. For the folks in the gray that see value in the man but have issues with the tenets that moreso what this thread was all about offering up love and lightening up the gray. So far the gray issue seems solely to be what's the deal with Yeshua and the bad rap women get in the bible. Well here's how I see it, was it due to social trends...maybe, but Christ tells us to disregard things of this world and focus on the kingdom. Is it the express teaching of the laws? I think not...I dont see anything in there about women being lesser creatures. Does the blame for original sin fall on eve (archetype for the divine feminine in Abrahmic faiths)NO!!!!! the blame falls evenly on the snake, the man, and the woman. Shame to all three, whether people would like to blame Eve for being the middle man is personal not religious belief. Finally what does Christ have to say regarding women? I am pretty sure when he said love your neighbour it wasnt as specific as love all men that are your neighbours on this Earth. But rather his message was who are you to judge, no one is superior or greater for any reason, and the only thing you should be giving to one another is unconditional love. So I hope that we see some more gray thrown out there. To those that love Yahweh's favourite son... Good for you. For those that dont... Love you anyway, god made you that way for a reason and who the hell am I to judge God's choices, and for those in the gray I hope I can spread the light that is the love of my lord Yeshua.

Never cared much for his writing. If we're concentrating on Jewish authors though, Primo Levi is the man!

Greetings. It is a no brainer, Astarath. God is love (agree?). Jesus was fully human and fully God (agree?). What's not to love?
