Vaginal mutilation is apparently not limited to the most isolated regions of Africa and Wahabbi circles in Saudi Arabia, no, it is happening now in the heart of Europe. TODAY has confirmed that a 25-year-old woman from the Sandzak has reluctantly come forward to report the incident to local police, despite her fears of a backlash from Saudi Wahabbi missionaries.

"This is not something we even have stories about in our historical epics. It is not something mothers even think to warn their daughters about it. This barbaric practice does not belong here," she said, refusing to allow her name be published.

Interesting how these supposedly pious men had no trouble touching a woman's private parts... as long as it was to mutilate her.

I may draw fire from some of the Muslims on RF but as far as I'm concerned the Wahabbi's are extremists (to say the least). And they're frightening.



And the U.S. considers Saudi Arabia to be our ally in the "war on terror."

Nah. I think in this case we should make the punishment fit the crime.

This is not a religious practice, and should be outlawed and heavily punished to deter others from following suit.

Last year, an African immigrant living in metro Atlanta was convicted of genital mutliation on his daughter.

First of all, what do you mean by Wahabbi?

Can you tell me please why you think of Saudi arabia in this way?

I couldn't agree more. It's absolutely vile and shouldn't be tolerated anywhere.
