We are borne to this life through the will of God.
The station we find ourselves in is our starting point.
We can chose to enrich our lives spiritually.
Or we can chose to do so financially or through influence and power.

Most of us just coast through life, like opportunists, snatching at straws as they present them selves.

Like everyone else I am a sinner. I attempt to live a good life through Gods grace.
God will no doubt judge my successes and failures.

My purpose in life is to learn of life. I'm lucky enough to have a profession that has to do with life and how people choose to live their life in good times and bad times. So I learn and learn and learn. Maybe I learn enough so I don't have to come back.

To flourish and find happiness. This includes doing productive work that challenges and interests me, having mutually beneficial friendships and marriage, pondering philosophy, and otherwise making good use of my short life.

No, my purposes are about my life, not any afterlife.

My purpose in this life is to learn from the mistakes of my past life and carry that on into my next life and continue to do so until I learn everything there is to learn and fix all the mistakes I make in previous lives. Only then will I make my ascension to a higher plain wherever that may be!

My purpose is to find a balance between personal happiness and familial continuity. In other words - to do as many of the things I want all while teaching my children to be good, productive and useful people.

And I don't think anything but getting an "Atta Boy" will carry over to the world beyond.

Nothing to do with an afterlife. My purpose is to love my wife, my family, and my friends, and to respect and honor my community, my state, my country, and my fellow man.

If I have a purpose it would be to understand the human condition in all its aspects to the best of my ability (preferably from personal experience).
