I think the intolerance is a spin off of the insecurities of being in 'one-road religions'
where much of a person's validation comes from the number of believers share their views and the number of people they prosalytize to.


I'm concentrating on my own walk.

"Can't we all just get along?"

apparently not. We never have. If we were capable of that, why did Jesus have to harp so much about who we should consider to be our neighbor? Frankly, it makes me sick that so many Christians (who, by the way, should be tolerant and "neighborly") are so damnably entitled to that special place at God's board. That kind of thing gives the rest of us a bad name.

If you live in a Bible belt/Conservative state, anything but mainstream is heavily intolerated.

FYI, I have even had intolerance be shown towards me for my religion on this forum before. So have many others.
