To those who seek the destruction of Christianity (Jesus, Kingdom)

It is apparent by the recent threads in this forum- that Christian thought is continually under attack- not by legitimate dogmas or beliefs but by a series of synthethic rhetoric which lack authority-

Let them state there authority- for I tell you they speak after men

1. Christianity existed before the creation of this system of things and continue to exist now- apart from that which they refer to as Christian
2. They cannot destroy Christianity for to destroy it - it will be revealed as Christ was-
furthermore they do not know who a Christian is-
for it is stated- The Kingdom of heaven is within you and without you
3. Even secular Christianity cannot be put down by these farces of reality- for it is the "harlot" that will be reconciled to the Bridesgroom in the wedding chamber- They fear the basic theology of Christianity- for they know that if Christianity is not supressed it will spread- not by the blade of blood but by LOVE

I will bring to bear upon all these despotic demagogues - the full force of the Totality to expose there secular spritous ploy -
Christ will be Glorified
For he is the only being who has come done from the true glories-

Christianity is often attacked and mocked because most of todays christianity has nothing to do with the old real christianity, bibles have been re written with jesus' own extended family taken out and deleted ( you know he had brothers and sisters don't you?). Verses have been changed to make him look more powerfull then he actually was, John the baptist didn't origionaly say he wasn't worthy to baptise jesus, that was written in later to make john seem less than jesus when in fact john was the same as jesus if not more as it was Johns teachings that Jesus taught! The lords prayer that jesus made was most likely Johns but the bible of today would never let that version be taught, it would be too dangerous! Christianity is also mocked due to how big headed a religion can seem, most of the holidays that are celebrated are near the same dates as pagan festivals, this was done to try and make it easier to convert pagans!
If you really have issue with people having problems with chritianity then look in the old bibles and do proper research for answers and more importantly look in the mirror and see what heathens see when they look at christianity from the outside!
I can guarantee that it's alot different from what you see!

I'm starting to think that not only christianity is being mocked...It's all the religions in general..There is a movement widely spread to return people back into being Atheists..I dont have a proof, but i'm noticing this in many religion debats...

anyway, you must open the depate, cuz i can't find a point of start to begin debating..

I agree with darkpenguin in that it is not Christianity under attack but the misuse of it, or the misuse of it's label. We have all seen the media ministers, some of whom are sincere, who use the words of love to foster hate, use the sound bite theology to promote their own agenda, and use the God of freedom to condemn. Remember, Christianity is not the world's oldest existing religion, and many Christian tennants actually lie in the bases of these much older faiths, such as the Eastern Religions, and the biblical stories we love can be traced back to much older stories in those faiths.
I also agree with you that there are many htings in Christianity that cannot be destroyed or misused, as the Grace of God and love of Christ will prevail, whether we see it or not.

But, please do not label this a place of wanting to destroy Christianity, it is quite the opposite, a place of wanting to explore it, support it-along with other choices of faith-and our right to talk about it.

"Back to being atheists"? When were people ever atheists?

I think that a lot of religious folks are overly sensitive. They think that to ask legitimate questions of a religion's logic, or reasoning, or social effect, is to "attack" it. They think skepticism is an assault on "faith". And in many ways, we do have to blame the purveyors of the religions, themselves, for this misapprehension. They too often tend to become cult-like in their propensity to practice
