I'm not sure if many people are familiar with anything written about Atlantis, you should go into more detail. Although I did see part of the disney movie.

The city of Tyrus still exists to this day. The old city of Tyrus was destroyed by I think it was Alaxander the great, who threw the materials of the city into the ocean to make a bridge, making it flat like the top of a rock like Ezekiel predicted. It's also still a place for fishing. Let me just check that I got the right person.

But, getting back to the topic on hand, if Tyre/Satoma was the seat of Satan in the sea, there might be some basis to the idea that Atlantis in Plato's Critis is an extension of the earlier idea. The Wikipedia article on it admits that it may be based on an earlier idea, and says that, "In his account, ancient Athens seems to represent the "perfect society" and Atlantis its opponent, representing the very antithesis of the "perfect" traits described in the Republic."
