Is anyone required to wear special garments in their religion? We must wear a white garment known as a tohnekka.

It's not required, but I do wear a kerchief to services. I find it's humbling, more than anything else. I think it reflects a kind of simplicity, and I like that. Quakers of old always wore bonnets, or some kind of headcovering, and some still do today.

did you say it was made of wool?
and that may be the goal--but alot of women in modern society wear stuff like that out of fashion---i think it is rather neat that you wear it for humility, but other women would wear it to kinda "show off their assets"

We have to wear a necklace made from the wood of a tulsi tree called a kanthi, even a rosary sometimes. The kanthi is normally orange bu you can get black, brown, a wierd yellow and i think white as well.

No special garments, but a coffee in at least one hand is recommended.
