Mystic-als, I suspect Becky isn't following up on this thread, but I believe I know her well enough to state that she was definitely not being sarcastic. She and I believe much the same way. I'm sure we would agree that there is nothing inherently evil about Freemasonry. In fact, the founder of our church was a Freemason for a short period of time.

true at the very basic level of freemasonry. But not at the higher degrees

is rather that way inclined in the way that it tries to have a monist 'Great Architect' that is supposed to be an acceptable God for various religious adherents. In efect, it says that (at least) Judaism, Christianity and Islam are all equally valid paths to God.

In the highest levels none of these religions are accepted. They have their own God and their own Deity. The great architect whom they refer to is not the same as who we understand in the semitic religions. The problem is much more serious than you think.

If you are not a Freemason yourself, how is it you are privy to what goes on in the higher degrees of Freemasonry?

Read Albert pikes books called Morals and Dogma. It is what is given to a mason at the 32 degree one before the highest. I went to college in Beaumont and i joined a fraternity and they all happened to be masons one of them was a 33rd degree and he gave me alot of secrets and told me alot of things. My ex girls grandmother was high up in one of the female organizations and we got a copy of her rit book. There are many books out by people who were once masons and have left the church now. Read Alister Crowley auto bio. there are alot of Christians who were masons coming out saying these things as well from their own experience. My best friend who is not muslim is a mason. I have alot of sources books, people, lectures. Tell me what you need and insha Allah I will send it to you. You must remember masonry is an occult philosophy. There is hidden knowledge within the degrees. some masons have no clue at what goes on it is only as you go higher in the chain that you are given more light or "knowledge" Do studies on Masonry you may be really suprised at what you find. Every heard of Bohemian Grove or the Castle of Darkness. What about the ordo templi orientis or Jack the Ripper.

I think that the Free Masons are not evil. I think they are generally misunderstood. Too many conspiracies have developed over the years in regarding to the Free Masons, and lot of these theories are coming from the churches.

Some Christians (particularly from RC and Protestants) have the tendency to label a person or organisation as evil without understanding their purpose.

"Evil" seemed to be their favourite word. Personally, I find witchhunt, destroying temples of other religion, book-burning, burning "witches" and "heretics", using torture, and force conversions as evil.

Book burning is even happening today, when some Christian communities in the US, UK and Australia started burning Harry Potter novels.

Mujahid, let me put it to you this way... I don't know a great deal about Islam. If I knew someone who had once been a Muslim and had left the faith, having become disillusioned about Muhammad's claim that he was a prophet and having come to believe that Islam was evil and corrupt, how would you feel about my going to that person for information on your beliefs and practices? Personally, I don't give one ounce of credence to what an ex-member of any religion or organization has to say. I've seen enough former members of my church spread lies about our doctrines to last me a lifetime. Go ahead and buy into that propoganda if it makes you feel good. As for myself, I have no use for it.

Why would they say these things. By saying that you are telling me the guy who i met in college who was at the time a freemason is lying when he tells me what certain symbols mean when he himself is a practictioner and has access to many keys and clues many know nothing about. Albert pike says in his book freemasonry is a religion he is one of the greatest freemasons ever is he lying. I have not said nything bad about them. I was responding to a post when he said Masons believe this. I have not said they are evil I just told you that there is an occult system of initiation "hidden knowledge" My best friend as I told you is a mason is he a bad person. But what the man in college told me is the progression of what my friend knows why because he is not as high within the organization his specific lodge. Yes it is true many people say alot of things about freemasonry. I take what every one says and keep what is good ignore the rest if no evidence to support it. Also if many are saying the same thing yet they have never met and describe the same thing it is hard to discount their information.
