Crisis of faith (homosexuals, church, God, mercy, religion)

Have you ever had a crisis of faith, how did you come overcome it or did it convert you??

I had one till I did a spiral dance with some friends, I had a HUGE rush of energy. I wasn't told I was going to have one and it was amazing, If I experianced the same as everyone else without being told it would happen
I knew I was on the right path.

I had a crisis right up to about 2 years ago. I could not come to terms with a God that hated homosexuals. I found a sect that said God hated no one. Said he was slow to anger and wrath and quick with mercy, love and forgiveness. And it was when I really got behind the history of the Methodist church I realized how true it was. God loves everybody as His own for the simple fact they are His own! I said it before and most likely I'll say it again, you could be purple and God would still love you.

thats cool, all religion should teach to love no matter what they look like or live there life.
