This is the kind of persian-bazaar, used car salesman tactic that only serves to give Christianity a bad name.

Get to the point, please. Some people are hypocrites, what then? Sue them, try to remonstrate them... do something, if it is so important in your eyes. |

Now that you know, what are you going to do about it? If Christianity can not "police" Christian actions what does that say about Christianity? Will there be a complaint about my using "too broad a brush"? Undoubtably. Those Christians who know and who do not offer reproof become supporters of the maloderous practice. God's will, at any cost, blights the whole religion. Let me offer an effective solutions. Christians could band together, make signs, and picket the false clinic and false Christians. For every appearance of Fred Phelps there should be a contingent of Christians surrounding his followers. Every speech and argument that contains lies, mistruths or deception should generate letters to the editor proclaiming that those Christians who use distortion are nor representative of Christianity. There should be organized "Christian Pride Days" where the ungodly Christians are exposed by mainline Christianity carrying placards in parade. Pulpits should be used to show the right way (whatever that is) to address an issue and foul deeds should be censured. When you know, there becomes a Christian burden to act. Talking to you about it. Quote:
Pah, who cannot do what? What are you talking about? What d'you mean by 'Christianity'? Quote:
Undoubtably what? ![]() No? Yes? ![]() I wouldn't complain that... Quote:
Why's that? I read news and know about many things that happen in the world. Do you suggest that I try to offer reproof in all cases known to me - just so as not to be supporter? Quote:
Again, what blights what? I don't care about religion, but you seem to think that God's will does what? Blights? Can you please go into details, friend, 'cause I start wondering whether I've understood you correctly. Quote:
To what? To hypocrisy? ![]() Quote:
??? Thank you, but I have the Bible to tell me what am I to do as a Christian. I'm against any picketing - that's not what required of disciples of Christ. Quote:
Who in the world is (forgive my ignorance) Fred Phelps? Why Christians should surround his followers? Again, please don't tell Christians what to do. Please... Quote:
Pah, it doesn't require any letters - the Bible itself defines such people as non-Christians. Why bother writing letters? Quote:
But thank you for suggestion... Let's leave the "pride parades" idea to gay/lesbian people... Quote:
Can you please go into details about what I should use pulpit for? (Just in case... I'm kidding). Quote:

What's that? Pah's Law of Christianity #1? Before starting to expect make sure what you base your expectations on... |
