Definitely a Honda. He just doesn't like to talk about it (I do not speak of my own Accord...)

In short, I can't do what Jesus would do. I can only try and do what He told me to do.
You are absolutely correct. Jesus didn't come here to show us how to live, he came here to live a perfect life in our place, and to take on the punishment for all of our sins. The question we should ask is not WWJD, but WDJD (What DID Jesus Do?) and that is what we need to keep in mind. Sure we are to try to live a good life, but it's not going to get us anywhere without acceptance of what Jesus did for us.

That is, in a nutshell, why I'm not a Christian. Christianity teaches that what one believes about Jesus -- the teachings of other (and lesser) men who came after Jesus -- is more important than anything Jesus himself taught. I can't accept that.

Respectfully, you have a rather distorted view of Christianity. There might be a few people who teach that, but there are a whole lot more who focus on Jesus' teachings. I'm curious why you didn't select one of them to be representative of Christianity in your mind.

My view of it can't be any more distorted than cturne's, since they're the same.

What Christian church would you suggest, that doesn't have dogmas and that treats all people the same?
