Default second coming
How would you recognize the second coming of Jesus. It seems like if someone says they are Jesus, no one believes them. Would there be some kind of defenite sign or would he just be conisidered another hippie liberal.

I'm thinking that it will be on CNN or something like that. I just try to keep up with current events.

Funny you say that. In college I suggested that Abbie Hoffman was Jesus in the second coming. My prof at the time thought it was funny.

According to the Bible the second coming will be something that is hard to miss. Trumpets will sound, the clouds will role back, and those that have been saved will meet Jesus in the sky. I don't think that this means that it will be something that a person will have to get on a loud speaker and announce in order for people to recognize what is going on.

Our bodies will be changed in a twinkling of an eye. We will meet Jesus Christ in the air and we will sit down with him at the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb". We will also see the city of Enoch that was translated. We will live with Jesus Christ and the inhabitants of the city of Enoch, until the wicked, on earth, destroy themselves, and/or are destroyed. The New Jerusalem will be our new home in heaven, which will be established on earth after the battle of Armageddon. The Third Coming of Christ, with his saints, will be on earth. Christ will then set up the New Jerusalem on the American continent. Jesus will rule and reign on earth.

The Second Coming will not be an event on earth. The world will wonder where we have gone. They will be deceived into believing a lie.

Why should the second be different from the first time?

Most of the world missed the second coming - Muhammed.

Most have not realized that Jesus has returned twice more since then.

Each time the world ended and was reborn and changed forever in the twinkling of an eye. He came back to judge the spiritually quick and the spiritually dead.

I don't think that's right. I've never read anything that said that we're not going to be on the earth during the tribulations and armageddon. Saints of God will die during all of the bad things preceding the Second Coming. During the battle of Armageddon there will be two prophets on the streets of Jerusalem that will hold back the advancing forces against the Jews. They will hold the forces of evil at bay for a long time and they'll finally be killed in the streets of Jerusalem, where they'll lay for 3.5 days. They'll be resurrecten after that and continue to fight. Right when the forces of the advisary are advancing on Jerusalem Chirst will come down to the Mount of Olives and show the Jews the prints in His hands and side. The Jews will relize that they killed their Savior, and they will fall down and worship Him. All the wicked will be killed and Christ will reign in glory for 1000 years. There will be, when the millenium first begins, a resurrection of the just. This is where all of the rightious will be resurrected and live on the earth for the millenium. After the millenium Micheal will lead the forces of God against Satan, and Satan will be finally cast out forever.
