Hi,
A little debate for you. What aspects of religious belief if taken away from their context and presented on their own could be construed by psychiatrists as perhaps symptons of mental illness? (for example, speaking in tongues or speaking to someone that isnt there* ) Also, what beliefs if viewed by the scientific world, would beseen as crazy? *[only not there if taken out of context] Last edited by El Scotto; 01-24-2006 at 06:46 AM.. |

If the scientific world lived in a vacuum (Hoover or Electrolux, though it can get a mite dusty in there, and I enjoy our RF scientists too much for them to get congested), probably most of them would seem like signs of mental illness. With them being human, however, I'm not sure if it could ever be handled completely 'out of context'.
