I was watching Miracle on 34th Street this weekend (the new one). Towards the end, the whole courtroom battle trying to prove if Santa exists, got me to thinking.
Why is it that if someone were to say they believe in Santa, aliens, or any type of creature we don't "see", we'd laugh at them. Many people would actually consider you crazy for having such a belief. But, at the same time, most of us accept that God is real. A being just as invisible to us all. The idea that Santa could live in the North Pole, have elves working for him, and make tons of toys for all the children of the world, and deliver them in one night is laughable. Yet, the idea of a being that created the entire universe, who can listen to and answer millions of prayers a minute, and know each and every one of us, is completely believable? |

While it is true that I have never actually seen him, I have felt his presence in my life and seen his works in my life and the lives of those around me. I have my evidence.
Just curious, do you belive in things like Quarks and Black holes? Because I'm pretty sure you've never seen either one.

The premise of Santa Claus? Presents from him under the tree. I have yet to see them. The premise of Christianity? Freedom from sin and yourself. This I have witnessed FIRAT HAND |

Santa is not real............well, unless you know something we don't; aliens have been claimed to have been seen my many, but then the Airforce has never detected anything totally awry, that they could prove. We can disprove Santa, and aliens (until someone has proof) but God ? We are required to believe in him without any proof; that's the difference.
