John 20:24 Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!"
But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it." 26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." 28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." NIV There is more than enough evidence to believe. The problem is not in the evidence, but in the hearts of those who refuse to see. |

Again, we all see that evidence of god for many, is the fact that life, nature and space cannot (*yet) be explained, therefore......god.
We also have the abilty to wonder at natures beauty, so beautiful MUST be made by god. Naturally....no way....why? because we don't have any other answers...must be god. Perhaps insects think cats and dogs are gods. Perhaps dogs and cats think we are gods. |

Wait a minute... you have made a BOLD statement about how Victor has used "circular" logic, and you can't show us? Sounds like you wrote a check your logic could not cash! These two word responses can sound impressive when you first read them; a complete dismissal of what Victor said. In reality they have no substance! It's like the one worded responses such as "garbage" that rely on emotionally charged words to make their point and provide no insight into the discussion at hand. I am sure that you can do better.
You made the comment in THIS thread, and so we would appreciate the clarification in THIS thread. |

Somehow, I expected this dodge from you, Jerry! Victor: your statement stands virtually unchallenged. I fully agree with the sentiment that we do NOT pick our faith out of "no" soup. Great illustration of it as well!
