The way many theists describe their various deities, many of them sound fairly awful. Luckily not all god concepts are awful, but many of them are.

i don't know your religious affiliation, but in christianity there are many passages in the bible where god is sexist, bigoted, jealous, angry and naive all very human traits that a deity should be bigger than. and since god is the creator of our universe, why would god be concerned about who gets what tiny piece of land and why would god play favorites?
