I heard this from a friend of mine, and wanted to share it with you.
Science is like an egg. Not just an egg, but an omelet. You have all the things of the world thrown into this omelet: all the discoveries, all the inventions, all the theories and laws, all the matter, all the energy, all the light and dark, all the universe and all the multi-universes, all that is, was and can possibly be --all thrown into this one omelet, with its cosmological layers carefully folded so nothing spills out. That is one beautiful omelet. The reason science and God are not incompatible is just this: God is the guy making the omelet. ![]()

That's certainly one way to interpret it. I liked the story because it works well for a number of conventional and nonconventional interpretations, at the same time.
