Aside from English, what language(s) do you speak? I'm talking about fluency here, not just a few words or phrases.
If you're wondering how I picked the languages that I did for options, they're apparently the 10 most widely spoken languages in the world (aside from English, which is #3).

I can speak English and Spanish, and smatterings of Dutch that I learned from my girlfriend and her family. I hope to learn Frisian some time. Does anybody know of any decent resources. It's not too common of a language.

I don't know if I'd call myself fluent in Japanese, but I know enough to take a vacation over there and not make a fool of myself, or have to reference a phrase book every 5 seconds. I am, however, working towards fluency.
After that, the next step is Gaelic. Mm....dead languages. Tastes like cabbage ![]()

I'm not fluent in Spanish, and I have forgotten quite a bit, but after enough refreshing I think I could handle a decent conversation.

I'm in a similar situation, except with German instead of Spanish. I used to be able to speak it decently enough (got by in Germany just fine), but the lack of oppurtunities to use it in the U.S. has left me forgetting much of it over the years.

I remember such useful high school German phrases as "Meine grossmuter ist den arbeiter," and "Habst du ein kartoffelsalat?" And a great German tongue-twister:
Fischer Fritz fischt frische fishe. Try saying that ten times fast. Does that qualify as speaking a foreign language?

Pig Latin. But then, I'm not all that good at it.
