My wife and I went and saw Wicked in Baltimore yesterday. One word - WOW! I loved it.
I had heard the soundtrack before and was already in love with the music. Then I read the book, and was left kinda... "huh???". I found the storyline in the play to be much more satisfying than that of the book. That hasn't happened with very many things, normally I will admit that the book was much better than any other medium, but not in this case. Maybe I have to read the "Wizard of Oz" books in order for the "Wicked" book to make sense ![]() Anyway, if any of you ever have the chance to go and see "Wicked" - take it!!! You won't be disappointed.

YAY! I'm so glad you liked it!
![]() I only have the soundtrack, and I've yet to see it. I haven't listened to it in a while, but I think that's because every time I'd step into the costume shop at one of the theatres I worked at, they'd have either that soundtrack or the soundtrack to Rent blasting..........over..........and over...........and over..........and over.........and over.......... You get the picture. I love the music even though I sadly became a little sick of hearing it. I wonder if anyone will ever REALLY replace Kristin Chenowith as "Glenda." The girl is absolutely perfect for the role..........how did "Glenda" do in the Baltimore production? Peace, Mystic |

"Defying Gravity" is an awsome song. The lighting and effects that they used in it were amazing. It was wonderful visually.

I got to see it opening weekend in NYC. It was amazing. I adore Kristin Chenoweth. She was great in the Charlie Brown musical too.
She's in a new show this coming spring called The Apple Tree or something like that.

Incidently, I don't know if anyone watched Law and Order: CI, but the woman who plays Alex, Katherine Erbe, used to do broadway. I have a feeling she's trying to get back into it too.....I swear on my life that walking to the train station in the city on Saturday I nearly walked into her as she was coming out of the cast door of the revival of Chorus Line. Crazy stuff. I walked into Tony Danza the same way several years ago. 0.o
