I can hardly write a two-sentence post without editing it at least once! I'll bet I edit my posts ten times more often than most of you do. If I see one missing comma or one word that I have second-thoughts about, or don't like the smiley I've chosen, I have to go in and fix it. Does anybody else have this lame compulsion? I wonder how long it will be before I edit this post!
![]() First edit: I initially said, "I'll be I edit my posts..." Then I noticed the typo and went in and changed it to say, "I'll bet I edit my posts..." And I even proofread it before I posted it!

I edit all the time Katz...so don't feel bad. I'm very anal about spelling and usually have an online dictionary browser open while I'm posting because the RF spell check sucks!
Seems like you have a minute or two to edit your post before that little memo pops up at the bottom announcing that you edited it. So, I try really hard to get my post edited before the two mintues are up so that it doesn't show up! LOL! |

It actually depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm anal, and sometimes I'm not.

For anything more than a few words I tend to perfect them in Word, after which I Copy and Paste them into the RF text editor.

Not really often. My most common edit is to delete a post, usually because it's a double post.
Other than that, I usually edit when one of my English blunders has given the statement a different or opposite meaning. If I was trying to say, "I don't want to go" but I typed "I do want to go" - which isn't as rare as you'd think - I edit it.

Not very often as I'm careful about what I post; I try to convey my meaning and intent very clearly in every post: if I do edit, I do it straight after I submit the post so quickly that it almost never reads "Last edited..." in italics @ the bottom.

I tend to be fussy about editing if I notice a mistake. I usually try to review my posts before I reply but it doesn't always happen because I have a little love to chase all day.

I edit mine fairly frequently. I'd prefer to do preview post, but sometimes my connection is so squirrelly it's safer to just post as is and go back and edit if I noticed I typed something wrong.
