Default New year resolution update thread....

I thought it would be a good idea to address our new year resolution plans either daily or weekly. For example, if your new years resolution is to lose weight, then you can post what you did today or during the week that would help you in achieving your goal. You can say, well I ate less of this and I did a work out for 30 minutes etc etc.

I'll do mine weekly.

Well, mine was to lose 40 lbs this year, and to that I needed to go back on my diet the doctor recommended.

So far, I'm doing it, it's hard, but I'm doing it!

Feel free to vent and talk about your feelings like why you think it's difficult, what you think you could do to make it easier etc. ALthough you don't have to, but I have faith in you girl, I KNOW you can do it!! Of course, I want us all to succeed in our goals, and maybe we can help each other some way some how.

I was going to start mine on the first but wasn't feeling to well(ain't gonna tell why..part of it has to do with these stupid BC pills ), but I'm starting today.
I want to work out 6 days a week, lift weights two of those days, and do yoga 3 times a week. I want my muscle tone back, not huge muscles...but shapely. I used to feel GREAT with that routine, the hardest part is getting started.

My other goal is to eat more veggies, I bought carrots, brocolli, peas, stir fry, vegetable juice and celery. So to be totally honest, I'm starting today. And I MEAN it!!

Most defintley! The hardest part for me is the juice. I love juice, but I've limited myself to 3 small cups a day, and I'm already on my 2nd right now!

Well, one of my resolutions is to cut back on the number of things that I do, so some of my hobbies have to go. Today gathered up some old craft supplies and books and plan to list them on ebay later this week.

Well hobbies aren't a bad thing, I'm assuming you need more time to devote to something else?

My problem is I have hobby ADD. I can't seem to find one I enjoy enough to do it all the time. I usually start with one, and then get bored with it and I wind up with all this stuff. Best not to start everyday of the week...Sometimes to much to fast leads to giving up later on. Try to go to the gym ever other day. Then later on work your way up. I found on any diet the key is lots of water...And to cut out white flour , white bread and surgar...except for raw sometimes.
