Last year, a friend of mine wanted to dress up as Jesus. Since I go to a Catholic school, it was a bit of a touchy issue and he had to get special permission. Well, 'Halloween Dress Up Day' came, and he walked in wearing sandals, a white robe, and a RAINBOW CLOWN WIG! I don't know if I've ever laughed so hard in my life! Oh the humanity!

The funniest costume I've ever seen... I can't repeat it here, but normally I'm not one who finds certain body parts inherently funny, but I do when they are 6-feet tall and walking around downtown Cedar Rapids for no apparent reason. Traffic is crazy here at the best of times, but I found a lot of people were slowing down their cars in order to see something on the sidewalk. Since I was inside at the time, during clinic training for massage therapy, I walked out to see what the fuss was. Here was this guy, dressed up, waving at everyone and grinning like a maniac- and headed down the sidewalk in my general direction.

I ran back inside as quickly as I could. It took my cognitive abilities a long time to process.

I havn't done Halloween for 4 years anyway... I usually just get stuck with 'hand out candy' duty.

I want you to ask me that after I've witnessed Bastet dashing down the street in a Zombie Dingo costume chased by Steve Irwin shouting "Crikey!"

Halloween isn't really 'done' here, so there'll be no trick-or-treating, and no dressing up. *sigh* I wanna go trick-or-treating!!

Well it looks like I'm not going to go this year at all.

Some churches had their panties in a wad about Halloween being on Sunday, so the town is having it Thursday night before Halloween (how stupid is that?

). I have class on Thurday nights, so no Trick-or-Treating for me.
