How has your morning been? (Earth, experience, sunday)

I was just hanging out with my daughter on her favorite blanket and I saw this black spider crawling across her chest. I completely freak out and try to brush it off, despite the fact that I'm terrified of spiders. I didn't see where he went so I pick up my daughter and put her on the couch and check her hair and under her shirt for the spider. Then I pick the blanket and shake that out. Then I feel something bite me on my chest and I shriek at the top of my lungs and flail about trying to get the horrid thing off. I run back to the bedroom and rip the bathrobe off and try to figure out where it went. So now I don't have a clue where it is.

Anyway, how has your morning (afternoon, evening) been?

I've seen better but at least Monday is over.

So far, so good. I went to college this morning to sit a mock exam I will be taking tomorrow. The allotted time was two and a half hours, but I did it in two hours, and the tutor could find no mistake (this is using Powerpoint). In fact, I produced the show as a 'pack up and go' presentation - to be shown on a different computer that may not have the same software.

When the tutor saw that, she said "What on Earth is that ?..........we don't 'do' .exe files...........

I have nearly finished 'repairing' my backup hard drive (200 Gig external usb drive); I knew it needed a proper format done, and then check disk, because I have been having sporadic errors on it. But I am winning!

Oh, I forgot to mention; I sent off for a booklet on courses for open University. A guy rang me up today, and chatted to me for quite awhile; I really may go ahead with this early next year, when I have finished all the computing courses.

I think the guy really made me realise that this is more than a "I wish I could.......", but more of a "when will I start, how much will it cost? etc..........

I feel quite excited; now I will have to tell my wife when she comes home.......

Another day, another migraine.

I can't figure out what the next thing is we have to deal with, medically speaking.

I just went to my doc yesterday, and it was an...interesting experience. It always is, when you hit emotional work.

But back to spiders -- I used to be terrified of them, but somehow I managed to get over that. I think maybe it was because I moved to Georgia and cockroaches make spiders seem minor?

Though sometimes if we're having a dry spell, like now, if I kill a spider it kinda makes me happy like it will rain or something. Totally illogical, I know.

I leave the cockroaches to the cats and the guys. The cats enjoy the chase, and the guys enjoy finding ways to dispose of them. My favorite is tossing them in the toilet and peeing on them. It's terribly amusing to hear what the guys have to say as they dispose of the carcases. baw ha ha!

If the poor thing has got any sense it will have RUN away as fast as its eight legs could carry it.Its tuesday here and 16.32 finished work which was ok busy but the customers where nice today,and thats always a bonus,plus and this is really weird as i've posted on a couple of other threads i'm having a bit of a bad week,too many memories linked to this time last year,well my ex who is working close by where i work came in,he's been hanging about where i am for the last few weeks,anyway to cut along story short,we pulled a few faces at each other and both ended walking away smiling,so i'm feeling pretty good today.

My days going alright so far. I'm at work though and I'm dead tired. I haven't slept since Sunday morning.

Dean came home on Sunday from touring, so I'm happy, but he leaves again for Atlantic City in a couple days and from there he goes to New York and so on, and he won't be home again until September 3rd, so I've been trying to spend what time I can with him, which doesn't make for much sleeping. Plus, he played the Warped Tour in Montreal on Sunday, so it was a big party afterwards.

I just want work to be over so I can go home and hopefully sleep

Other than that though, all is well.

I hope you find that spider Leonne! Thankfully it didn't bite your little girl though!

It's Tuesday, so in a little while I have to start PMing people for the news for the newsletter. Michel makes me do it every week.

This morning, I'm missing Feathers. There just hasn't been enough rabble rousing since she's gone away for a while.

My morning is going well. I'm having a slow/easy day. My boss isn't around and I'm chillin at the office.
