If you could make the choice to be a different person from who you have become today, would you make that choice (to be someone different)? Why or why not?
I am NOT asking if there's anyone you'd rather switch lives with. What I AM asking is if you could have developed into a different person (different personality, different character traits - are character traits even different from personality? -, different qualities, etc.), would you choose to be someone different from who you are now. And the whole why or why not business... |

Well, I have this unnerving fear that God is ashamed of me and that I'm going to experience a horrible afterlife. So, I guess I would want to have developed into someone that doesn't believe in God, or someone who has a content belief in some form of god/goddess(es).

I'd be Superman. He gets laser-eyes and xray vision... do you have any idea how much fun that would be!... plus my coffee would never get cold.

Well, I wish I weren't uncomfortable in social situations (I do alright, but I get uneasy periodically). And maybe some more self-confidence. And that I didn't worry so much about what other people think of me (though that's pretty minor). And a better singing voice
But for the most part I like myself.

Then again, as I get older, I find I'm slowly becoming that person anyway. I console myself with the thought that anger, properly channeled, is preferable to apathy. ![]() |

I would change into someone who doesn't say sorry for everything and is more kind.
