Oh I got one, It really gets to me. I call the affirmation/negation pyschological test.

Its a very easy experiment and people will volunteer without even knowing. Imagine you are in conversation, the hypothesis is this; you have negaters and affirmers

An 'affirmer' will listen to exactly what you say, and reply with a 'yes' followed by an affirmation of the points he agrees with, and a reasoned critique of the parts he has issues with.

A 'negater' feels the inherent need to say 'no', irrelevant of what you said (in fact 50% of the time they didn't even listen). Then departs on their mission to disprove what you said, with no consideration of what you said, sometimes even ending up agreeing with you.

Anyone come across these types (doesn't work so well on the web as people can read, then re-read, but saying that often don't!!!!)

Yes, I agreee I know the type.... but Love On Ladies I must disagree with as they have been leaving "presents" on my car and that upsets me greatly.
