Mine's the static on a TV off-channel. I find it oddly relaxing to stare at a TV like that. It captures how my mind will sometimes wander like a fading signal and disengage from what I should be doing.

I suppose it's a religious metaphor of the results from when I tried to converse with God. Seemed all I ever got back was empty static ("no signal"), and I had to alter my beliefs to make sense of it.

I change mine a lot, so this might not apply for too long.
Right now it's a painting of the Hawaiian goddess Pele. I forget the artist, I have the page bookmarked somewhere.
I've been drawn to Pele and her story lately. Out of nowhere I ran to get my left over clay and made a volcano...after that the name Pele stuck in my head and I did some research.
