Are the hinges on the inside? Can you remove the hinge pins?
If the outside knob works you evidently have a functional lockset. Can you jam something like a toothbrush into the hole and twist? Do you have something hard and flat in there you can jam between the door and strike plate to force the bolt back? Last edited by Seyorni; 04-12-2006 at 03:21 PM.
