I've always pictured them as kind of a cross between the jewels that Jensa described and bubbles. What I think of as the 'frubal balloon', that bar at the top of people's posts, is unique to each individual, even though their frubals might be given out by the same members. Each frubal is a little bubble, carrying the good intentions and the friendship of its giver. When they're recieved by the other person, the frubals get absorbed into their balloon, making it a little bubble in a bubble full of bubbles! The more frubals one has, the more facets there are- more community they've built upon, more insightful comments they've made, more things that they've contributed to RF! Now I wanna give out frubals! (Luckily, I saved for the 'frubal giving option' for just such an occasion!)

I picture frubals as looking like oompa loompa's from the chocolate factory. Now you shouldn't throw them at anyone or eat them like a treat but when you receive these cute little frubals they sing songs and dance around the computer .
