I am a Libra (Sept 27th) and find it occasionally alarming how much I'm like the 'description' of someone of that sign. I always like to hear two sides of everything, I'm diplomatic/ tactful to an almost annoying degree. It's been said that "the Libran is usually the most empathetic of all the zodiacal types and the most ready to tolerate anothers' failings". I find that I'm empathic to a preternatural extent, taking on the feelings of any people I'm around to the point where I no longer have a sense of 'self.' According to over here I'm supposed to be like gentleness and sharing (I do, finding gentleness to conquer strenght anyday) and dislike violence, brutishness, injustice and being a slave to fashion. There is nothing I despise more than injustice, and tactlessness is something that makes my skin crawl. I also love sapphire, the Libra 'gem.'

Umm... That's my List of Alarmingness! (I wish I could find a TM sign to use, as that would be probably against some copyright...)

I also sense and take on other people's feelings. With me It's like being a radio receiver, It took me a long time to realize I was receiving other people's feelings. I finally got to the point where I could tell how others feel about themselves by the way I feel when I am around them. I have moon in Pisces and cancer rising with the Scorpio sun sign. That's a triple water sign.

A triple water sign?! With that, added to your empathy, you must have hardly any barriers to other peoples' emotions at all! (Water being associated with feelings in most cultures.) Have you found that anything works in terms of dulling the empathy, or making it not quite as harsh as it normally is? If you have, please share it, since it'd be very helpful to others.

I have learned to separate what's mine and what belongs to others. Like Elliot said "to care and not to care." I ask for strength a lot. In my earlier years I turned everything off. Now I have learned to control the feelings.
