Finally, the aura of spring is finally washing over the Chicagoland area. Nothing beats the scent of resurrecting nature. I should ask, what's your favorite season, and why?

Spring. My birthday is in April and I am a good starter but a miserable finisher. That's what Spring means to me: the beginning.

Spring!
I, personally, think the new year should start in the spring, beacuse of the flowers and wonderful smells. Everyone's coming out of their winter stage.... getting ready for summer it's just fantastic! |

When I lived in Virginia, fall was my favorite season because it was warm and beautiful with all the leaves changing. I loved the crunch of the leaves under my boots. If we had more cherry blossoms, I would've said spring, though. There don't seem to be any discernable seasons here in California.

Right now it's Spring. It seems to change with the seasons.

Fall is my fav season. Love the leaf change and I especially love the muted sun on autumn days. One of the best things about fall is going for a drive up the Mckenzie River on a slightly windy day and watching the leaves brush across the road in clusters and then be swept up into the trees. All is slow motion. There's something magical about that.
Spring is the second best....after a long winter the crocus, daffodils and camelias start to pop out....ah, you know then that sunnier days are ahead! Last edited by Buttercup; 03-31-2006 at 02:29 PM. |

Autumn. The leaves changing on the trees are beatiful. Also, autumn is sort of like the process of dying before death (winter) comes.

I love winter. There's nothing more beautiful than a good snowfall. I wrote a song about it called Winterfall.
