I don't live and die by horoscopes, I'm a Leo, Aug 17, so I guess this is only natural.
Summer!!! ![]() Bright warm sunshine, baseball is in full swing, T-shirts & short pants, no jackets , jumping in the pool right after work, ditching work early to go swimming, and going to Daytona Beach for vacation!

Winter. I like it cold and overcast. The spring and summer depress me to no end. It's bright, hot, muggy, and allergen-infested.

Fall. I love Halloween. I'm a Scorpio so my B-day is in the fall.
This is kinda off topic but my favorite type of weather condition is rain. The air is clean and the sounds are soothing and relaxing........unless it's a thunder storm. But we don't get those too often in L.A. |

Fall. I like to relate it to wisdom. For instance, Spring is the new born babe, who is simple and innocent. Summer is the lively Middle years of adolencence and adulthood where we are energetic, idealistic, and wondering. Winter is the calm peacefull death, where we lay down and sleep forever. But fall is before winter, and represents the wise old crone, enjoying life and its simplicites that God has given us. It is calm and understanding, warm and beautiful.

It's absolutely beautiful here in Virginia. My sisters and I took my daughters out in the beautiful weather today and I couldn't help but notice the blooms and all the welcomed signs of spring. We went to a little farm close to home that houses all kinds of little farm critters and the horses and lambs and goats all had babies. They were precious.
I enjoy spring and fall. I enjoy the newness of spring...the smells...that time before the humidity really becomes a pain and the grass is lush and cool. For me, there's just something about the colors and the overall feeling of fall that moves me in a way that no other season can. Not to mention the wonderful memories that I associate with that time of year...both of my daughters were born in fall. I'm quite fond of October. That's my favorite month, I think. And there's no sky quite as lovely as as a September-going-on-October sky. Place orange, red and yellow up against blue with those billowy clouds and wow...that's just visual bliss for me. Leaves kicked up and swirled by the wind. I love it. Then the September-going-on-October night sky. Full moon over the ocean. Crisp breeze. My favorite time to walk the beach is in early fall...when the worst of the heat is gone and the sand is cooler but still warm enough to enjoy and you feel that first bite of cold from the ocean when it hits your feet.
