One quote from that page, "This rapture letter service is FREE and will hopefully gain the person you send it to an eternity in heaven."

Personally, I don't believe in the "rapture." I think it's a bunch of nonsense and I'm not afraid to say that because many others consider by beliefs to be nonsense. Lets all be nonsensical together!
Anywho, I thought their reference to 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 was interesting. Here it is from the KJV. "For the Lord himslef shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and reamin shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." This scripture is talking about Christ returning to the Earth at the beginning of the Millenium and the righteous rising during the first resurrection. I don't see where it means the righteous are going to disappear into thin air. The Lord is returning to claim his kingdom and we'll rise up to meet him. |

Of course it's a joke. No man knows the day or hour in which Christ will return. Only God knows that one.

I am a cynic. If there is one thing that life has taught me, it is that nothing is for free.
Somehow, I wonder if this has anything to do with it:- This service is free of charge. We require no payment for our efforts to save the lost. But, because this ministry does have financial needs, We do accept donations. Without them we would not have been able to create the program, maintain the database or this web site. Ninety percent of all donations we receive are used to further the kingdom of God and 10% goes toward administration costs. Mail donations to: Rapture Letters P.O. Box 720193 Pinon Hills, Ca. 92372 ![]()

Hmmm, a dead man switch that has to be reset. So in other words, if the person running the site dies, or group of people, then everyone is mailed a rapture letter.

Disbelief in the rapture set aside, the site looks to be completely real. A program like that would be fairly simple and easy to create. They do ask for donations, but the site is free, and you aren't required to give any important information away to add someone to the list (as far as I went at least).
