It depends who it is.
If its one of my family members or pets, then not well. If its someone else's loved one, then i'd say i'm pretty good when it comes to supporting them emotionally.

I don't handle death well at all. The idea of never seeing someone I care for again just hurts so much. My heart aches for the loss.

I handle it fairly well, when my mother died I was depressed for a while but then go tbetter, I find its better to simply greive and cry as much as you need to at the start, its the way our minds cope, supressing it is very unhealthy. I often find a change helps, a holiday or something, thats probably just me though x

the only time someone truely close to me died it was a suicide and i hadn't reached the spiritual level i am at now.
back then, though, i felt like i handled it as well as i could. but it was an event that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I'd like to add, its a lot worse when you actually witness the death.
If it happens to someone you know who lives far away, it hurts but its far easier to get over when you don't have the mental image of the dying burnt into your mind. Sorry for the morbidness, but i also don't think you can truly comprehend death until you personally witness life leaving someone...

I've never had somebody die, so I don't know.
