why do you give frubals?
With all this talk about frubals, I was curious why you give them. Do you give them to your "friends"? Do you give them for compliments? Why?
I give them for 3 reasons: 1) funny posts (probably the most common); 2) posts where the person said what I was tyring to say, but much more eloquently; or 3) for people who present a really unique view point that I had never considered/knew about/&c.

I don't give frubals..
That is, not yet. Im still saving for my first ribbon, after that, I don't know  My title is bucephalus at all my forums, so I needed to change that. there is one ribbon I really need to have for my feeling and for the rest I think Im going to give it to good thinking posts. I like people who think, I don't know why. Without questions-> no thinking, so give me the right questions and im willing to frubal as well (that are a lot of questions here )

I give them for posts I agree with, and I usally give Welcoming Frubals to new people.

I give Frubals to welcome someone to Religious Forums because I had learned the importance from a former member of welcoming new members to RF.
I give Frubals to surprising posts. Posts that seem completely out of character for the person who is posting them. I give Frubals for practical wisdom. I give Frubals for special occasions (births, anniversaries, birthdays, people who have just recently recovered from a health problem). I give Frubals to someone who has taught me something new or something that I haven’t considered before. Even though I may not be able to contribute, I give Frubals for some well thought out threads. I give Frubals becuse they give them to us to use.
