I don't believe it's a dimesional thing though. Attune yourself to your spirit rather than your mind or body, and anyone can sense these things.

Now admittedly I am not sober as I read this, but am I to take from what I have read here, that we have a half dozen people or so here who beleive that there are spirits flying around them?

How does one know when such things are about? Is it possible I have spirits flying around in my house?

It is possible. In fact it is more than probable. They don't "fly around" or say "Boo" this is a rather cartoonish and superstitious view of the spiritual. If you would like to learn more, there are many who will help if you ask.

Spirits in essence are energy. Just like electricity. In that sense, you don't have spirits "flying" around your house. But they are practically everywhere. At least, wherever there is energy.

In what way do you mean they are anywhere there is energy? You mean around all living humans? Surely you don't mean they are hanging around power plants, etc. . .

Anyone here ever seen one of these spirits? Or do you feel, hear or smell them? How does one detect a spirit?

These are legitimate questions, and I would love to know more about this, if you guys are being serious.

I have never met a spirit I didn't like, hehe.

Listen to Feathers, MV and Kreeden, et al. I am sure they have it right. The religious carnival mentality could cause you problems. Best not to go there. As, Kreeden said, Just talk to them, if you must. They are there to tell you something, if you can figure how to hear them out. If they disturb you, say so. For heaven's sake, don't let your imagination run away with itself. I know it sounds odd, dealing with this sort of thing, but try to remain objective.

They are always around. In some shape or form. I teach a meditative exericise called Pulsus which expands and enhances your energy, and allows you to better perceive the energy vibrations (spirits) around you.

Spirits cause change. So wherever there is energy, there is change. So wherever there is energy, there are spirits. And since energy is practically everywhere, yes, spirits would be all around powerplants.

When I was 16, I saw them for one night. Afterwards, I could only smell them. Now, I am able to see them again. Not really sure why, but that isn't very important. Most people feel, hear, smell, etc... them.

These are legitimate questions, and I would love to know more about this, if you guys are being serious.

There are many ways to sense them . As MV said , some smell them , sometimes you just hear them , sometimes see them . Personally I often just " feel " them . { that is not to say that people only sense them in one way or another , sometimes they can be as real as a person standing next to you }.

As to what they are ... I have no idea . Nor do I much care .
