Let me explain: I believe that all human beings are completely out of their minds, and so are therefor idiots. Well ... not OUT of their minds so much as trapped inside their own minds, with only a few paltry and minimal physical sense mechanisms to bring in information to them about anything that exists outside of themselves. So naturally, when we apply our massive imaginations to this relatively small amount of actual information, we tend to create "wonderlands" that we call reality that aren't really anything like actual reality. And if this weren't bad enough, we're very often frightened to death of our own ignorance, and so when we encounter evidence of our misrepresentation of reality we tend to DENY it instead of correcting our imaginary realities accordingly. Which of course only leads to more and more inaccuracies. And if you point out to us that we are deliberately denying reality, we will try to kill you, if need be, to shut your mouth. So we are not only crazy, we are dangerously crazy. Welcome to the human condition. But of course most of you have already denied and disregarded everything I've pointed out in this post, and have "erased me" from your vision of reality, as well as from your computer screens. And even if you haven't. I'm probably completely wrong about all this, anyway. "Smile pretty, and watch your back!" Last edited by PureX; 02-01-2008 at 12:52 PM. |

I am a mother, I have 3 children. I am married, have been since 1991. I am a Christian but I was not raised in a Christian household. My mother was agnostic and raised my sister, brother, and I as agnostics.
I love to read. I read all genres of books as long as they keep me interested. I don't watch much TV, but I like Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9, and VOY), MASH, and occasional other programs. I love the Science Channel. I collect certain things-- Porcelain dolls, miniature carousel horses, a few old coins, and a few other things. I just finished all the criteria to get an AA in accounting at my local community college with a 3.6 GPA. The last class I took was Chemistry. I like a lot of genres of music including Rock, R&B, Country, Celtic, Classical, Gospel (both Gospel and Country Gospel), and Choral. My favorites are The Bee Gees, George Harrison, Stevie Wonder, The Statler Brothers, Patrick Ball (a Celtic harpist), Mozart, Beethoven, and too many others to name. I used to be in the Navy, from 1986-1992 as an electrician/technician. My husband retired from the Navy. I now live in San Diego County, in Southern California. I have lived in other states, too: Colorado (7 years) Virginia (18 months) Florida (3 months.). I hope this is not too long.

I never introduced myself as I didnt understand forums when i came here, as I was a forum virgin! But I am sure you all know this...
I am married with two girls of my own. And two step kids that one of which has austism and the other is aspergers. My mother has terminal cancer. Care rests mostly upon me and I do not cope well with it. I am a mature (32) student doing a theology degree.I dont understand it at all and I reliese that only really clever people should try and do it, rather than moderatly owing brain cell people like me.I do not cope well with it! I am presently working in an italian restaurant in the evenings. i am tired. I cant spell, or use proper grammer, and it bugs me. I have no hobbies as i dont have time. I am an atheist. I was brought up as a christian Pentecostal and knew no other life until i was 14, and I left the church at 16. You will never convert me.My mother still believes as does the majority of my family, but even they have given up The nearest I come to believing in anything is buddhism, but even that has problems for me.I dont understand religion and continually seek out answers that may seem basic to yuo guys, but i dobt care and have the need to try sand understand and learn I came here looking for help with my work. It is rare that anyone even had a basic knowledge of what i am studying particulary(anyone that does theology knows that it is a weird degree that only ever covers small fragments of a small part), with the exception of maybe Angellous and Dopp), but I have learnt so much and I like many here, so I stay. I like this place |

I wonder if I've ever officially introduced myself on RF? Hmmm....can't recall. Anyway, I've been a member of this forum for almost 4 years now, which I can hardly believe. I won't reveal my exact age, but I'm between the ages of 25 and 35. At the moment I am somewhat of a "spinster."
![]() I grew up in a Christian home, but I've only been a born-again Christian for about 11 years. I actually hated God for most of my life. Most of that hatred coming from having a bit of a rough childhood. I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was 2 years old. I am currently working for a professional photography lab, trying to pay off debts. I love to travel, to experience different and exotic cultures, and do so every opportunity I get. My favorite country is Brazil (I feel half-Brazilian), and one day, once I am debt-free, I hope to move there. My dream is to work with some of the street kids down there-----this has been on my heart for a few years now. I am also a lover of animals (particularly horses), the great outdoors, languages, and writing. I am an idealistic, romantic daydreamer and wanderer. That's me. ![]()
