I would accept it as a legitimate practice, though I know many would not. Some people I've spoken with have regarded even my charitable offerings of simple massage therapy as dangerously close to being magic. (I'm still not clear on that one.)

How would you proove that such an event was magic or a miracle?

Of course. I suspect anything we might refer to as magic now would later be referred to as science.

Look, we can put invisible rays into a body and cure cancer... magic!
We can create babies with no sperm... magic!
We can make hybrid mice that glow... magic!

You get the idea.

the interpritation of it being magical or a miracle would depend upon the person

Well then ....when you put it that way I would have to no to the previous question because the "magic"can be proven not to be magic.
